NBA Releases 2011/2012 Season Schedule

NBA released the schedule for the 2011/12 season which will begin on December 25 local time . Five matches will be played directly on the first day with the finals on June 26 .

NBA lockout period is almost complete after the owners of the club and its players reached a tentative agreement on 27 November. After the lockout ended, authorities released the schedule for the NBA season 2011/12 .

In the schedule released by the authority of the NBA on Tuesday ( 6 / 12 ) evening local time , tipoff will commence on December 25 local time . Previously , three matches are scheduled to be played on the first day . However, due to a shorter season , five games will be played on the first day .

Three big match was presented on Christmas Day . Boston Celtics travel to the headquarters of the New York Knicks , Chicago Bulls face the LA Lakers , and the action of heat between the two finalists last season , the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks .

Two other games also will be played is the host Oklahoma City Thunder Orlando Magic and the LA Clippers who will come to the Golden State Warriors .

Regular season is expected to expire on 26 April and the playoffs will begin on April 28. While the final match will be held on June 26 . Meanwhile, the All Star game is scheduled to be held on February 26 .
